Suzlon Wins 103.95 MW Wind Project in Rajasthan: To power 85,000 households

Suzlon Group secured a 103.95 MW wind power project from AMPIN Energy Transition. The project in Rajasthan will utilize 33 wind turbines and provide power to 85,000 households. Suzlon sees this as a step towards wider adoption of hybrid renewable energy projects in India.

Suzlon Wins Wind Project in Rajasthan

Suzlon Group on Tuesday announced that it has secured a 103.95 MW wind project from AMPIN Energy Transition. As part of the contract, Suzlon will supply the wind turbines in Rajasthan’s Fatehgarh district and implement the project, including construction and commissioning, the company said. Suzlon will install 33 Hybrid Lattice Tube (HLT) tower wind turbine generators each rated at 3.15MW. 

It also offers comprehensive operations and maintenance services after commissioning. The project is part of a hybrid project based on different offers from clients of SECI and CandI (Commercial and Industrial). A project of this size can generate electricity for 85,000 households and reduce CO2 emissions by 3.38 lakh tons per year.
